New book: Spectacular Modernity: Dictatorship, Space, and Visuality in Venezuela, 1948-1958

I’m thrilled to post that my book, published by the University of Pittsburgh Press, is very nearly out. I’m currently working through the digital proofs so it can go to the printers and it’s exciting to see all the images alongside the text for the first time.
